If your helmet is subject to an impact of any sort it should be replaced, regardless of if there is any visible damage on the exterior of the helmet. The interior lining of helmets are designed to absorb and displace shock, once this has been compromised in an impact, each subsequent impact is losing its effectiveness to protect your head.
